Terms of service

By using Storefinch (the website, the MCP server at https://storefinch.com/mcp, or an API key) you agree to these terms.

The service

Storefinch lets you search and export information about US businesses, built from Overture Maps open data and rebuilt monthly. The data comes from third-party sources and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. It's provided as is, without warranty of any kind.

Your use of the data

• Each record carries its open license (CDLA-Permissive-2.0, Apache-2.0 or CC0); keep the license and attribution when you share data you exported. See data licenses.
• You're responsible for how you use the data, including complying with laws on marketing and outreach such as CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and do-not-call rules.
• Don't use Storefinch to harass anyone, to send spam, or for anything unlawful.

Accounts and keys

• Keep your API key secret; usage on your key counts against your plan.
• Don't try to get around plan limits, for example by creating many free accounts.
• We may suspend keys that are abused or that put the service at risk.

Plans and billing

• The free plan includes 500 tool calls a month. Pro is $19/month, billed monthly through Stripe, with the limits shown on the pricing section.
• Cancel any time from Manage billing; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period and your key then returns to the free plan.
• We may change prices or limits with at least 30 days' notice to paying customers.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Storefinch isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
