What a lead list costs
| US leads per month | MapsData | Storefinch |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 leads | $19/month Starter (after the 7-day trial, which needs a card) | Free plan covers 500 export rows; Pro $19 covers it all |
| 10,000 | $19/month Starter: 10,000 leads with email | $19/month: 10,000 rows, a third with emails from the data, plus email lookup on up to about 9,900 |
| 25,000 | $49/month Pro (50,000 leads with email) | $19/month: 25,000 rows; email lookup on up to about 9,900 |
MapsData counts only leads that come with an email; leads without one are included at no charge. Storefinch counts every exported row, and its email lookup uses one call per place out of Pro's 10,000 a month. If what you need is the largest number of emails per dollar, MapsData's higher plans are cheaper per email.
Choose MapsData if
- You need ratings, review counts, opening hours or Google's open/closed status.
- You need Canada, the UK or Australia.
- You want tens or hundreds of thousands of emails a month at the lowest cost per email.
- You want several emails per business and one-click email verification.
- You don't mind waiting minutes to hours for each list.
Choose Storefinch if

- You want to know which websites are dead, or find businesses with no website at all.
- You want to try it without a card.
- You want a data source that doesn't depend on Google Maps.
Questions
Is MapsData the same as mapsdata.io?
No. MapsData at mapsdata.ai (this comparison) and Mapsdata at mapsdata.io are separate products from different companies.
Which has more emails?
Both start in a similar place: MapsData says typically around 30% of businesses carry an email, and 34% of Storefinch places have one in the data. Storefinch's find_emails can add more from each business's own website. MapsData returns up to five addresses per business.
Why does Storefinch answer instantly?
Storefinch queries a prebuilt, indexed database of US businesses, so a search or export returns right away. MapsData gathers listings and visits websites for each job, which is why jobs take minutes to hours.
Can I resell or publish the data?
MapsData's terms forbid reselling or publishing lead lists as a standalone dataset. Storefinch data carries open licenses (CDLA-Permissive-2.0, Apache-2.0, CC0) that allow reuse, as long as you keep the attribution listed on each row.
Does either work with Claude?
Yes. Both offer remote MCP servers. MapsData's supports OAuth sign-in; Storefinch connects with an API key today.
