| Emails | Emails & Contacts add-on: up to 3 emails from each business's website and other sources | In the data for 34% of places, plus find_emails reads the business's own site |

| Businesses with no website | Yes (a marketed use case) | Yes (no_website filter) |
| How an agent uses it | Official MCP server with 28 tools, API key only; enriched or larger searches run as jobs the agent checks with requests_get | Remote MCP server: 8 tools that return results directly. Searches answer in about a second from an indexed database; no jobs to start or poll |
| Pricing model | Pay as you go, no subscription: 500 free places and 500 free domains a month, then $3 per 1,000 each (falling to $1 after 100,000) | Flat: free plan, or $19/month Pro (10,000 calls, 25,000 export rows) |
| What you may do with the data | Outscraper's public terms don't address who owns results or how they may be reused (that's in an agreement shown at signup), and don't address Google's terms; users are responsible for compliance | Open licenses on every row (CDLA-Permissive-2.0, Apache-2.0, CC0): store it, put it in your CRM, reuse it |
What a lead list costs
| US leads per month | Outscraper | Storefinch |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 leads with email enrichment | About $3 (first 500 of each free) | Free plan covers 500 export rows; Pro $19 covers it all |
| 10,000 | Up to about $57 | $19 (10,000 rows in two exports; email lookup on up to about 9,900) |

Outscraper figures use its published rates as of the check date: Google Maps places and Emails & Contacts at $3 per 1,000 after 500 free each per month. Emails are billed only for domains where contacts are found, so real costs are usually lower than shown. Below roughly 3,000 enriched places a month, Outscraper costs less than $19.
Choose Outscraper if

- You need ratings, review text, hours, popular times or photos.
- You need businesses outside the US.

- You also need data from Yelp, Trustpilot, Tripadvisor or other sites.
Choose Storefinch if
- Your agent should answer in the conversation, not submit a job and check back.
- You want a whole city or state without splitting it into 400-place queries (up to 5,000 rows per export).
- You want a predictable monthly price as volume grows.
- You want the right to keep, reuse or build on the data, under open licenses.
- You want each website checked for being live before outreach.
Questions
Is Outscraper cheaper than Storefinch?
At small volumes, yes: its free tiers cover 500 places and 500 email lookups a month, and about 3,000 enriched places cost less than $19. Above that, Storefinch's flat $19 is cheaper; 25,000 enriched places cost up to about $147 at Outscraper's published rates.
Is Outscraper's data fresher?
Yes. It scrapes Google Maps when you run a job. Storefinch is rebuilt monthly from Overture Maps open data, so very new businesses may be missing, but every query answers instantly.
What about the 400-place limit?
Outscraper's own SDK says one query returns no more than 400 places and suggests narrower categories or locations to get more. Storefinch queries a city, state or radius directly, with exports of up to 5,000 rows each on Pro.
Can I keep and reuse the data?
Outscraper's public terms don't address reuse of results (that's in an agreement shown at signup) or Google's terms. Storefinch data carries open licenses (CDLA-Permissive-2.0, Apache-2.0, CC0) that allow storage and reuse with attribution.
Do both work with AI agents?
Yes. Outscraper has an official MCP server with 28 tools; enriched searches run as jobs the agent polls. Storefinch's 8 tools return results directly.
